This is one excellent library, done by Joa Ebert!

The Imageprocessing Library is a set of ActionScript 3 classes designed to work simple and performant. It comes with more than 50 filters to manipulate images and synthesize textures.

Also has excellent documentation!

Flash CS3 IDE bug

This is a real weird one; for a while now, when I quit the IDE the whole thing would freez up and the only way to close it would be to end the process. Try as I might, repare, reinstall, nothing fixed the issue.

Then recently, almost by chance, I came aross a post which had the following comment:

I’ve had the same trouble with Flash CS3 and found this on another website…

Go into ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Flash CS3/en/Configuration and trash the workspacelayout.xml file.

Restart Flash and reset your workspace. The problem seems to be moving the Output window. You can reconfigure the palettes as much as you want, but the minute you move the Output window, Flash CS3 locks up when you quit. Haven’t tested this fix with MM though.

NOTE: For Mac users, not sure if Win users are experiencing same difficulties :-)

It’s strange that moving a window would cause it to crash, but anyway, tried it, AND IT WORKED a charm!! I have no idea as to how someone actually figured this out, nonetheless, there you have it! Bloody awesome!
